We are actively hiring a certified and highly skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our team at PENDER CONSTRUCTION Inc. This role involves the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in a variety of residential and commercial construction and renovation projects. The Journeyman Electrician will be responsible for running conduit, pulling wire, installing fixtures, wiring panels, troubleshooting electrical issues, and ensuring all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of electrical principles, be adept at diagnosing complex electrical problems, and have experience working with a wide range of electrical components and systems. We require a detail-oriented individual with a strong commitment to safety, capable of working efficiently both independently and as part of a larger construction team.
Requirements:
Possess a valid and current Journeyman Electrician license. A minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Journeyman Electrician. In-depth knowledge and practical application of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and relevant local electrical codes. Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for electrical systems. Excellent safety record and adherence to safety procedures. Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in various environmental conditions. Strong communication skills to interact with project managers and other trades.
